Marketplace rules and safety
Private sellers and authorized dealer representatives can advertise real electric pickup trucks located in the United States. Use an accurate seller type, public dealership name where applicable, new/used status, mileage, location, asking price and condition. Explain pricing conditions and fees. Do not subtract potential incentives or fuel savings from the asking price.
Only advertise inventory you are authorized to sell and photos you have permission to publish. Do not post misleading availability, impersonation, stolen vehicles, unrelated products, illegal content or discriminatory, threatening or harassing material. Keep identity documents, precise home addresses and private contact/payment information out of public descriptions and photos.
Listings require a provider-verified contact email and moderator approval. Approval and social sign-in do not establish identity, dealer credentials, title, ownership, condition or payment safety. Material listing changes require review again. Check records and inspect the vehicle before arranging a sale. Vehicle sales, payment terms and any professional inspection are arranged directly by the parties.
Use the private inbox for initial questions. Do not send payment details, identity documents, spam, threats or unsolicited promotions. A block stops messages in both directions between the participants. Use Report listing or Report this conversation for concerns; conversation reports let authorized moderators review recent messages. Immediate danger should be directed to appropriate emergency services.
Sellers can withdraw listings, mark published inventory sold, renew expired or withdrawn inventory as a draft for fresh review, or delete a listing and its photos. Sold or moderator-removed ads cannot be renewed. Closed or unavailable listings stop new messages. Moderators can remove ads or restrict an account’s marketplace access, with private review notes. Contact the site team to ask about a restriction.
The invited beta uses the on-site inbox for notifications. Check it for new messages; no email delivery or response-time guarantee is provided. During beta, posting and inquiries require an invitation. Public viewing does not require an account. Current development limits are 20 listings per account, ten photos per listing and a 30-day approval term. These apply to private sellers and dealers.
Inactivity cleanup removes drafts and pending/rejected listings after 90 days, sold/withdrawn/expired ads after 30 days, moderator-removed ads after seven days, conversations after 180 days and closed reports after 90 days. Cleanup is scheduled in bounded batches and can require retries. Deleting either participant’s account or the listing also removes the conversation from both inboxes. Read the privacy and account-deletion pages for the full data-handling details.
Shuty LLC operates this site. For support or concerns about a moderation decision, contact contact@electrictruckowners.com. These site rules describe the current service; buyers, private sellers and dealers remain responsible for requirements that apply to their own transactions.
