Newsletter signup stores your normalized email address, subscription status, consent timestamp, and the version of the consent wording. We use this information to record your request for future ownership emails. No marketing emails are sent by this release. We do not sell subscriber records.

For abuse prevention, a short-lived hash of the connecting IP address and a time window is stored with a request count. We do not store the raw address in the application database. Hosting providers may process request metadata for operations and security under their own policies.

When you choose to sign in, Firebase Authentication and your chosen Google or Facebook provider process your identity under their own privacy policies. Our private account record stores a random account ID, Firebase user ID, provider, name, shared email address, verification state, account status, and creation/update dates. We receive no provider password and store no password, provider access token, or Firebase sign-in token in D1. Signing in does not create a newsletter subscription.

You can optionally save a display name, seller type and business name in your private account profile in D1. A nickname is sufficient; we do not request a legal name, street address, phone number, payment details or identity documents for your profile. Seller defaults prefill new listings and can be changed per listing. Updating your profile does not change existing listings. A business name included in an approved listing is public; your profile display name is not published by this feature. Deleting your account removes the profile and its listing copies. Provider backups and operational logs follow the retention limits described below.

Where the marketplace preview is enabled, D1 stores your seller-entered vehicle details, private/dealer seller type, dealership name where applicable, new/used status, asking price and price notes, mileage, city/state, description, listing status, timestamps, photo metadata and review feedback under your account. Private drafts and pending reviews are visible only to the seller and authorized moderators; only approved listings are public, including the dealership name and any price notes you supply. Account contact fields are not automatically exposed. Sellers must leave private contact details and documents out of descriptions and photos. Normalized photo variants are stored privately in Cloudflare D1 and served through ownership/publication checks. Raw uploads and filenames are not stored; a per-listing source hash avoids duplicate photo retries. You can remove listings/photos or delete your account, which also removes your listings’ dealer details. Interrupted uploads can retain opaque storage cleanup keys for reconciliation without profile information.

Where messaging and reporting are enabled, D1 stores participant-linked conversations, plain-text messages, unread positions, blocks, private reports, access restrictions and moderation decisions. Account email addresses and provider identities are not shown to the other participant. Reports let authorized moderators review the reported content and, for reported conversations, the last 20 messages. Moderators cannot browse unrelated conversations through the moderation interface. On-site inbox notifications are enabled; message email delivery is not configured. Deleting a participant account or the listing removes the associated conversations and messages. Reports and decisions are removed when their reporter, reported account or target content is deleted; a deleted moderator’s actor reference is anonymized on surviving reviews.

Scheduled cleanup removes inactive drafts and pending/rejected listings after 90 days, sold/withdrawn/expired inventory after 30 days, and moderator-removed listings after seven days. Conversations inactive for 180 days and closed reports inactive for 90 days are removed. Cleanup runs in bounded batches and may be delayed by retries or a backlog. Explicit listing/account deletion starts removal immediately and retains storage keys until file deletion is acknowledged. Access restrictions remain until lifted or the account is deleted. Anonymous daily marketplace action totals contain no messages or account identifiers and are retained for up to 180 days.

Firebase stores your sign-in in browser storage to keep you signed in across tabs and when you reopen the browser. Its provider pages may use their own authentication cookies or storage. Sign out on shared devices. Follow Account deletion details from your Account page to permanently delete your account after confirming and verifying your sign-in again. This removes your account profile, Firebase Authentication record, and associated account-owned records and tracked uploads. A short-lived hashed deletion marker prevents interrupted or concurrent requests from restoring the profile; completed markers are pruned after 24 hours when the account API is next used. Pending markers remain until deletion finishes. Provider backups and operational logs follow their retention schedules and are not immediately erased by this action. For access requests or help, email contact@electrictruckowners.com. A social sign-in does not verify a seller or a vehicle.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics on public pages to measure visits, page paths, referring sites, devices, and page performance. It uses no analytics cookies or visitor fingerprinting and does not log query strings. Account pages, including inbox/listing/moderation screens, account-deletion pages and the invited marketplace beta are excluded. Public marketplace pages can use the same analytics after launch approval. We honor browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals for analytics. Ad blockers, disabled JavaScript, and bot filtering can affect these estimates.

Newsletter sending is currently disabled. To request access to, deletion of, or suppression of your signup record, email contact@electrictruckowners.com. We may need to verify that the request concerns your own email address. Signup records are retained for the requested future ownership emails until deletion is requested or they are no longer needed. A suppression record may be retained to prevent unwanted email. Before newsletters begin, this policy and the signup process will explain the email provider and unsubscribe method.

Vehicle filters and comparison selections appear in the page URL so they can be shared. Selected public configuration IDs are also kept in browser session storage, when available, to preserve your comparison across pages in the same session. Accessory research selections store only public truck model and year choices in this tab’s session storage; you can clear them in the accessory selector. These choices are not sent to a merchant feed or saved to your account. This preference storage contains no email address, VIN, or owner profile and is not used for tracking.

We also count selected public feature actions, such as completing the truck finder, using a comparison or calculator, searching guides, and opening accessory reviews. These general counters store only a UTC day, a fixed action name, a public or test counter category, and a total. It stores no analytics identifiers, account details, raw IP addresses, search text, questionnaire answers, calculator inputs, vehicle choices, or individual event histories. Counts are limited to once per action per page in the current document. Daily totals older than 180 days are pruned when events are received; Cloudflare controls its own analytics retention. External websites have their own privacy practices. Changes to advertising or email-provider integrations require an updated policy and any consent controls that apply. A calculation may be copied into a URL only when you choose to share it. Treat shared URLs as public.

For Reddit campaign measurement, we separately store daily totals by reviewed traffic, campaign and ad labels and fixed arrival or calculator-completion actions. A nonpersonal attribution record in sessionStorage expires for measurement after 30 minutes and is removed when the tab closes or analytics starts on an excluded page. It carries no visitor identifier, account information or calculator inputs. We use it to connect a tagged arrival with a calculation in that tab and to reduce repeat counting. We do not send these actions to an advertising platform. Untagged Reddit referrals are classified as organic; missing tags or blocked referrers can make attribution incomplete. Campaign totals exclude test traffic and are pruned after 180 days when campaign events are received. Browser privacy signals and analytics exclusions also apply to this measurement.

On Deals & Rebates, state and program filters stay in page memory and are not saved to your account, browser storage or our page URL. We do not send these choices to the government API. Opening an official state-directory link includes the selected state in that website’s URL. Our server may refresh a public national program cache; it contains no visitor or account records.
