Compare 2026 Silverado EV LT Extended Range and Sierra EV Elevation Extended Range using exact configurations, dated prices and trim-specific towing evidence.
Research by Electric Truck Owners Editorial. Reviewed 2026-10-31.
Document research and original analysis. We have not road-tested these trucks. The selected model years and dated base prices are not current availability or used asking prices.
The starting point here is the 2026 Silverado EV LT Extended Range beside the 2026 Sierra EV Elevation Extended Range. Both selected records carry the same published range estimate. That makes battery tier a useful starting point, but it does not prove identical equipment, charging behavior or real-world efficiency.
The Chevrolet base price is normalized from a published total with destination; the GMC source has a separate MSRP column. The table retains those dates and exclusions. The resulting difference is a comparison of these two published base configurations, not a prediction of the difference between dealer quotes.
THE DETAILS, SIDE BY SIDE
Your truck comparison.
Fields unavailable for every selection are omitted; individual gaps are marked. Range cells show their rating basis. Maximum towing requires the stated equipment; it is not the rating of every vehicle in a trim. MSRP/list prices are dated U.S. base prices before destination, taxes, fees, options, and incentives; see each price’s publication date and notes.
Swipe horizontally, or focus the table and use the arrow keys, to inspect every column.

Range figures are the dated manufacturer publication, not a live inventory claim. GM-estimated figures are labeled separately from manufacturer-reported EPA estimates.
Premium Package towing ratings differ from these entries; use the linked trailering chart for that package.
The selected towing figures come from separate manufacturer trailering charts. Read the required equipment, including Chevrolet’s package distinctions, rather than assuming that a familiar platform or battery tier makes the ratings interchangeable. Higher trims may change wheels, suspension and other requirements.
Both selected configurations now have sourced 300 kW peak DC figures. GMC specifies available 800 V fast charging for the Elevation; its Standard Range system is different. Equal advertised peaks do not establish equal charging times. Confirm the fitted hardware and compare charging curves for the same battery window and conditions.
Spend the difference on something you will use
List the equipment you need before moving from Elevation to AT4 or Denali, or from LT to Trail Boss. Investigate Midgate availability, bed access, seating, tires and steering features on the actual build. A trim badge is not a substitute for an equipment sheet, and a higher price does not automatically solve your use case.
Both manufacturers now present 2027 vehicles. Keep new quotes separate from these 2026 research records and compare like battery levels again if you change model year. For used trucks, condition, supplied equipment, service history and actual price can matter more than the original base-price gap.
