HUMMER EV or Cybertruck: buy a verified feature, not an image
Investigate the HUMMER EV Pickup when particular fitted roof or steering features justify their cost and suit your routine. Investigate the Cybertruck when its covered bed, interface and charging arrangement fit better after a demonstration. Both require a parking and cargo check in person; distinctive styling does not establish practical fit.
This comparison uses the 2026 HUMMER EV Pickup 2X and the 2026 Cybertruck Dual Motor AWD EPA record. The table deliberately avoids HUMMER SUV, 3X and Cyberbeast figures. Those versions may headline manufacturer advertising, but their equipment and prices must not be attached to these less-expensive selected configurations.

Fields unavailable for every selection are omitted; individual gaps are marked. Range cells show their rating basis. Maximum towing requires the stated equipment; it is not the rating of every vehicle in a trim. MSRP/list prices are dated U.S. base prices before destination, taxes, fees, options, and incentives; see each price’s publication date and notes.

Configuration notes and source details
2026 GMC HUMMER EV Pickup · 2X
Pickup only; HUMMER EV SUV specifications are not interchangeable. Module count is not usable battery capacity in kWh.
Towing and payload remain unverified for this exact configuration. GMC’s towing supplement directs owners to the individual truck’s Trailering Information Label.
This is an EPA configuration label, which may cover multiple retail trims. Wheel, tire, and equipment differences matter. A record does not confirm current retail availability.
Range and energy use: separate evidence from inference
The HUMMER 2X entry has a 316-mile GM estimate and the Cybertruck entry a 325-mile EPA rating. This is a comparison of published references with different rating bases, not a measured nine-mile advantage. HUMMER battery and off-road package combinations change its manufacturer estimate; verify the offered build before using that reference.
Only the selected Cybertruck record includes reviewed EPA wall-energy consumption here. A missing HUMMER value cannot support an efficiency claim in either direction. Avoid inferring pack capacity or running cost from range alone. Use explicit consumption scenarios in the ownership calculator, and replace assumptions with comparable evidence rather than a family-wide maximum.
Demonstrate the equipment that drives the choice
If the HUMMER’s roof or steering equipment is the reason you are interested, confirm that it is fitted, demonstrate it under the manual and check the storage routine for any removable components. For the Cybertruck, demonstrate the actual cover, loading access and interface. Verify outlets and associated operating limits on each candidate rather than assuming a power feature supports home backup.
Tesla specifies 7,500 lb towing and a 750 lb maximum tongue weight for Dual Motor AWD. The selected HUMMER 2X still lacks an exact verified figure here; GMC directs owners to the truck’s Trailering Information Label. Compare the actual loading and hitch limits, then inspect charger access with the loaded combination.
Compare charging access and complete quotes
Check the installed charge port, approved adapters, required account setup and compatible stations for each truck. Tesla’s network includes locations with different access rules. Do not reduce the comparison to connector shape or advertise a universal charging-time winner without a source for the exact battery, charge window and conditions.
The dated base-price examples exclude destination and other stated costs and are not live offers. Quote the actual purchase, insurance, tires and charging setup, then test resale alternatives in the ownership calculator. For a used vehicle, investigate condition, coverage, recall status and handover. Let the verified feature benefit and complete budget decide whether either candidate deserves a test drive.
